Halloween Costume Party featuring Mad Science Creepy Chem Show

October 25th 5:00 - 6:30 PM
A beloved annual tradition at MAGIC with a new twist…come and be entranced at the Creepy Chem Show at 5 PM and then it’s off to arts and crafts for a special Halloween project. Pizza and Halloween treats will be provided.

MAGIC is thrilled to welcome Mad Science, the world’s leading fun science provider, to our Mondays at MAGIC program. Each workshop provides hands-on science experiences that are as entertaining as they are educational. Join us for one or all three workshops and enter a world of discovery that sparks imaginative learning!

 

Workshop #1 The Mystery of Chem

November 1st
Eliminate the mystery in chemistry! Explore one of the most exciting and fundamental sciences as you create your own super bounce ball.

 

Workshop #2 Stunt Planes and Gliders

November 8th
Be introduced to the basics of aerodynamics as we learn about the forces that affect flight and create our own take-home gliders.

 

Workshop #3 Black and Blue Oceans

November 15th
Investigate an oil spill and focus on the impact of water pollution. Discover ways to clean it up and help the environment.

Children ages 4-6
Drop off only.
$45 per workshop;
$40 per workshop if registered for all three workshops in the series.

 

DECEMBER

Storytime by Design
Musical, Magical Storytime Theater

December 6th 3:30-4:30 PM
This is not your run of the mill story hour. Three actors will perform classic holiday stories for an unforgettable hour of musical theater. Designed to inspire literacy and a love of reading and learning.

Children ages 2-5
Parents and/or caregivers welcome.

Toy Story and Pizza

An afternoon that promises to be a true delight! Join us for the Disney/Pixar classic Toy Story I coupled with a fun pizza dinner!
